Refractory Mortar
Refractory mortar is a product composed of fused cements and special aggregates that provide it with a thermal resistance of 2192ºF | 1200ºC.
APPLICATIONS
It is a special mortar for laying refractory bricks and masonry work that will be subjected to high temperatures such as barbecues and paella pans, wood-burning ovens, fireplaces, cookers and repairing boilers or fire areas.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE
The substrates must be resistant, rough and clean. In the case of very adherent or porous substrates, it is advisable to dampen them to ensure good adhesion. Do not apply on plaster, painted surfaces, concrete blocks, concrete walls and metal surfaces
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Mix with water and other products, knead preferably using an electric mixer at low revolutions, until a homogeneous, lump-free dough is obtained. This product does not set by itself at temperatures below 1832 ºF | 1000 ºC.
